Goth is all about the music! Listen to the music. And by listening to it and understanding the history of goth, that’s what makes you goth, in my opinion. Great bands to start off with are The Cure, The Smiths, Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees. From there you can branch off and find other bands that you like and then over time the black clothes will start to collect in your wardrobe. I hope you enjoy the music and if you have any other questions or recommendations feel free to ask!
